Area Marketing Partner Benefits

Publication and Display Advertising Opportunities

  • Only partners are allowed to advertise in CVB publications and displays.
  • Partners that are “group-friendly” receive a free listing in the Group Travel Guide as space allows and at the discretion of CVB staff.

Web Site Advertising Opportunities

  • Partners receive a free listing on appropriate page of CVB Web site.
  • Unlimited free listings within on-line calendar for special events subject to approval of CVB staff. Events will also be considered for inclusion in print publications as space allows.
  • Access to special e-promotions distributed to prospective visitors

Brochure Distribution
The CVB operates visitor centers at the Springfield-Branson Regional Airport, Battlefield Road/U.S. 65 and Jordan Valley Park. The CVB will reserve a space for your brochures to be prominently displayed. Brochure inventory will also be monitored and you will be notified when the CVB is in need of more brochures for distribution.
 

Business Referrals
Approximately 100 trained volunteers and staff receptionists are referring thousands of visitors to partner businesses. Partners who advertise will be placed on a priority list for referrals.
 

Public Relations Services
The CVB public relations staff works diligently to bring travel journalists to the Springfield area and distribute news releases generating positive publicity for the area. Partners are strongly encouraged to submit information on happenings and high-resolution photos of their business to the PR Staff (email to Susan) for possible distribution to and inclusion in regional, national and international newspapers, magazines, Web sites and television programs.
 

Hotel Overflow Program
Accommodation partners will be placed on a priority list for convention and sports overflow housing.
 

Access to Marketing Research
Visitor profile and conversion studies are available for review upon request.
 

Issues & Info Newsletter
Distributed monthly to all partners via e-mail or mail. Newsletter highlights bureau sales efforts, upcoming events, conventions and other industry information. New partners are also announced each month.
 

MO Division of Tourism Liaison
The CVB can act as liaison with the Missouri Division of Tourism for advertising and free promotion opportunities (ie. Official Missouri Vacation Planner, newspaper inserts, etc.)
 

Travel Connections
Mixers twice per year provide a networking opportunity for partners. Attendees include attractions, hotels, restaurants, shops, chambers, CVBs and city leaders.
 

Salute to Travel & Tourism Awards Banquet
This semi-formal event provides an update on the year’s accomplishments and an opportunity to network with other Marketing Partners. Travel & Tourism awards will also be presented.
